Agricultural Construction

G J Elgar supply and install a number of different types of roofing systems for agricultural and industrial units. From metal roofing sheets to tin box profile, composite panel sheets to fibre cement roofing sheets and associated flashings. From our many years of experience in the industry we have recently pioneered an installation system that uses a suction arm and crane - significantly reducing the cost of labour for larger projects. The suction arm can even be utilised to fit sheets vertically - offering further reductions in labour installation costs.

As a company we have established ourselves as industry leaders in the use of sacrificial netting and over sheet system. This method consists of us laying netting over an old redundant roof and a safety over sheet so that the occupier of the building and your working days remain unaffected.

Specifically for agricultural and equestrian buildings, we deliver a high quality fitting service for Yorkshire Boarding. Pressure treated, softwood with a sawn finish - these boards create a durable and practical finish to your building.

Our team can also assist with the replacement of perished sky lights during a cladding service for an entire building.
